BACK IN TOWN

n saturday morning my whole family went to the beach to spend the weekend. It was the 1st time my son, Lucas visited the beach. We had a great time...but I'm glad we are back in town.
I missed my beads so much and on top of that I couldn't go to the Kraftwork at Youngblood gallery on Thursday. Kraftwork (in case you don't know) is a monthly vendors market. The nice owners of Youngblood gallery here in Atlanta let vendors set up shop and sell their wares once a month. I've set up my table there a couple of times and made good friends in the process. Lawrenceville (wher I live) is far from the exciting city environment and creative young folks like myself are not easy to find and make friends with. I have a lot of fun everytime I go talking to all the other crafters and looking at their unique art.
But anyway, back to the main subject, the beach was nice and there was a lot of fun had in Destin, FL but I am glad we are all back, after 4 days of sharing a house with my family, my house is a deserted paradise and even with a toddler it feels quiet and peaceful.
I really don't have materials right now which means I have to start looking for more beads (my favorite part of crafting). and making more jewelry... It is going to be a very busy month....
